Through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, "The Stimulus Bill", Congress has made over $300 million available for retrofits, re-powers, replacements, engine upgrades and idle reduction technologies. Of the $300 million appropriation, approximately $26 million will be made available to eligible entities within the Blue Skyways Collaborative Region.
The Request for Application (RFA) is posted at www.epa.gov/cleandiesel, and the anticipated closing date is April 13, 2009.
