Last year Heartland AEA offered a two-day Summer Academy in technology. The academy was filled with various sessions showcasing technology tools infused into the classroom in support of Iowa Core, Each session was about a half-day in length allowing the participants to learn, explore and work with the session resources.
This summer the Summer Academy will be held at Woodward-Granger School district on June 10-11, 2013. If you are interested in sharing your knowledge and what you are doing in your classroom to infuse technology, please send an email to Denise Krefting at dkrefting@aea11.k12.ia.us with your topic and a brief explanation of the learning goals of your presentation. There will be a presentation reimbursement of $100 and mileage for those presenting.
