Improve Practice Collectively and Collaboratively with Differentiated Accountability

Differentiated Accountability (DA) is the Iowa Department of Education’s new accountability and support system for school districts and AEAs. DA is replacing the previous 5-year site visits that consisted of record reviews and interviews with teachers, students, parents and board members. Changes were made to move beyond compliance into a continuous improvement model that improves outcomes for all of Iowa’s students.

For more information, review this DA program overview that includes resources and professional learning opportunities and visit the Iowa Department of Education’s website.
