Conference to Promote Curriculum for 21st Century Learners

The Iowa ASCD together with the Curriculum Mapping Institute will host the conference, "Upgrading the Curriculum for 21st Century Learners" June 22-23, 2011 at Southeast Polk High School in Pleasant Hill. Dr. Heidi Hayes Jacobs will share ideas and strategies featured in her ASCD book, Curriculum 21: Essential Education for a Changing World. Participants will learn how they can upgrade dated curriculum content, skills and assessments with timely and engaging contemporary replacements.
