Heartland AEA is offering the Paraeducator Generalist certification courses this summer. To apply for the Paraeducator Generalist Certificate through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, participants must complete three required courses:
- Course I: Foundations (strongly recommended to take first)
- Course II
- Course III
Each course costs $120, for a total of $360. Courses include required live Zoom sessions along with additional online coursework that can be completed on your schedule.
These courses are a great opportunity to strengthen your knowledge, build confidence in your role, and earn a recognized credential that supports student success.
