Early bird registration ends on Oct. 15 for the annual Iowa Culture and Language Conference. The conference will be held on Nov. 7-8, 2017 at the Coralville Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Coralville with a pre-conference on Nov. 6. All current information about this conference is posted at the ICLC website. Title III support is available for districts in the Heartland AEA service area who send individuals/teams to reimburse registration and sub costs and partial travel expenses. Call for presentations is now open for the Iowa Culture and Language Conference (ICLC) that will be held on Nov. 7-8, 2017 at the Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Coralville, Iowa. Plan to send teams of ESL and non-ESL educators. In addition, per recent Iowa Department of Education guidance, district teams that were required to write Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) in 2015-16 will still be required to attend a special CAP session at ICLC, however no new districts will get added to the CAP List in 2016-17.
**Heartland AEA Support: Heartland AEA will provide the following support through district reimbursement following the conference:
- Registration fees for both the pre-conference and conference
- Sub costs
- Flat amount to districts to defray mileage and hotel costs ($200 per participant) NEW!
Claim forms will be available at the conference.

Organizers of the 2016 Iowa Culture and Language Conference are calling for presenter proposals for their Nov. 14-16 event in Coralville, IA. Presenter proposal forms are available at iowaclc.com. Deadline for submission is June 10 and those selected for the conference will be notified by July 1.
