Heartland AEA 11 has received the ARRA funds from the Department of Education. We will be mailing the first 20% payment of the IDEA Part B ARRA flow through funds to each LEA on Wednesday, June 10th. You should receive these funds by Friday, June 12th. If you do not receive a check by Monday, June 15th, please contact Dave King, Heartland AEA Director of Finance and Business.
You can also click here to view a spreadsheet detailing ARRA Part B flow through funds by district. The G Column reflects the total entitlement amount for each district and the H Column reflects the amount of the first payment to be issued Wednesday, June 10th.
Because of the importance of this message, all Heartland area superintendents along with school business officials will receive an email version of this information later this afternoon.
